auditions are held at the beginning of September and January and throughout the year as needed. Auditions are for placement only.

  MEMBERSHIP DUES:

$100.00 per year, plus the cost of music.

(Concert Dress: Women wear black-on-black. Men wear tuxedo)

ABOUT the Rehearsals:

You will find that the conductor works hard at creating a welcoming atmosphere, a creative repertoire, and a place in which the individual singer is instructed, encouraged and challenged. Rehearsals are intended to provide a balance from the workaday world, by easing the burden of stressful days, and lightening the hearts of those who participate.  Rehearsals are enjoyable, filled with good humor and balanced by laser-like work in our process of making music.  Singers are welcomed and honored. Participants depart from rehearsal vocally invigorated and refreshed. If you have missed singing in an excellent ensemble or would like to give it a try, the HCS may be the place for you.
